What the Urdu Number Validator Does

The Urdu Number Validator checks whether a number is written in a valid form, and points out anything that looks wrong. It reads the number, flags problems such as mixed digit systems or a second decimal point, and shows a clean version in figures and in Urdu words.

It is a quick way to check a number before you put it in a form, a record, or a document.

How to Validate a Number

1. Enter the number. Type it as figures, with grouping commas if you like.
2. Read the verdict. The validator says whether the number is valid and lists any findings.
3. Check the clean version. See the number tidied up in figures and Urdu words.
4. Copy or download. Copy the result, or save it as a text file.

The Checks It Runs

The validator looks for a valid number, a single digit system, and at most one decimal point. It flags mixed Urdu and English digits, a bad number with stray characters, more than one decimal point, and leading zeros, so you can fix the number before you use it.

The Clean Version

When the number reads validly, the validator shows a clean version, grouped the South Asian way and written in Urdu words. This gives you a correct form to copy in place of the one you checked.

Leading Zeros

A number like 007 has leading zeros, which are usually dropped, since 007 is just 7. The validator can warn about leading zeros, so you can remove them, unless they are part of a code where they matter.
