How to Read a Date

1. Paste the Urdu words. Write the day, the month name, and the year.
2. Read the figures. The date appears as numbers at once.

The Month Names

The converter knows the Urdu names of the Gregorian months, from جنوری for January to دسمبر for December. It finds the month by matching its name in your words.

Day and Year

The words before the month name are read as the day, and the words after it as the year. So پندرہ اگست دو ہزار چھببیس gives the day fifteen, the month August, and the year two thousand twenty six.

What It Recognises

The converter recognises standard Urdu number words and month names. If a word is spelled in an unusual way, or the month name is missing, it may not be read, and the recognised flag will show this.
