How to Generate the Amount

1. Type your amount. Enter rupees, and paisa after a decimal point if any.
2. Read the words line. The Urdu amount-in-words appears, starting with sirf.
3. Add extras if needed. Show the figures and the English words.
4. Copy or download. Copy the line, or save it as a file.

Why It Starts with Sirf

The word صرف, which means only, begins the amount-in-words line on a cheque. It fixes the amount so nobody can add to it. The generator always places it at the start, and ends the line with روپے, with any paisa in between.

Adding the Figures

When you turn on the figures option, the tool also shows the amount in numbers, using South Asian grouping, with the paisa after a slash such as 6787/50, or after a decimal point if you prefer. This gives you both parts of the cheque in one place.

Adding the English Wording

Some cheques carry the amount in English too. When the English option is on, the generator adds the English words in the banking style, ending with Only, so you have both languages ready.
