How to Test Currency

The Amount Runs Left to Right

Digits form a weak left-to-right run, so an amount like 1,234.50 keeps that order even inside right-to-left Urdu. The comma and the full stop inside the number stay in place, so the number reads correctly, though it sits to the left of the Urdu words around it.

Where the Symbol Sits

A currency symbol is a neutral character, so it attaches to whichever side the layout gives it. Depending on the surrounding text, a symbol like the rupee sign can appear before or after the amount. The preview shows where it lands in your text.

Getting Currency Right

Keep the amount as plain digits and let the browser handle the direction. If the symbol jumps to the wrong side, a directional mark next to it can fix the layout, which the directional mark tools can add or check.
