The Urdu Paragraph Position Finder gives every paragraph a number and lets you jump to any one by that number. Type a position, and the tool shows that exact paragraph on its own.

It also works the other way. Type a word or phrase, and the tool tells you which paragraphs contain it, by number. A full numbered list of the text stays on screen, so you always know where you are.

How to Find a Paragraph in Urdu

1. Paste your Urdu text. Add the full piece, with a blank line between paragraphs. The direction switches on its own for right-to-left Urdu.
2. Enter a position. Type a paragraph number to show that paragraph on its own.
3. Or search. Type a word to see which paragraphs contain it, listed by number.
4. Copy if needed. Use Copy Shown Paragraph to place the picked paragraph on your clipboard.

How Positions Are Assigned

The tool splits your text into paragraphs at blank lines, then numbers them in order from the top. The first paragraph is position one, the next is position two, and so on down the text.

When you enter a number, the tool returns the paragraph at that position, and marks it in the full list. If the number is larger than the count of paragraphs, the tool tells you so, rather than showing the wrong block.

Reading Your Results

The total paragraphs card shows how many the tool found. The position shown is the number you picked, and words at position counts the words in that paragraph.

When you search, the search matches card shows how many paragraphs contain your word. The picked paragraph appears in its own box, and the list below marks it, so you can see it in the flow of the whole text.

Finding a Paragraph by Word

Searching by word is useful when you remember what a paragraph says but not where it sits. Type a distinctive word, and the tool lists every paragraph that holds it, each by its number, with the word marked.

The ignore case option treats English text the same whether capital or small, so a search still matches. Urdu has no case, so this affects Latin words in a mixed document. A short, exact search term gives the cleanest set of matches.

Good to know: paragraphs are found by blank lines, so a position matches this split, not the numbering in another app that may count differently. If your text uses single line breaks with no blank line, each non-empty line becomes a paragraph. Search matches on the exact characters you type.
