What the PKR Receipt Amount Generator Does

The PKR Receipt Amount Generator writes the amount line for a receipt. A receipt states the amount received in words, usually with the phrase Received with thanks, so both sides have a clear record. This tool produces that line in the standard format, ready to copy onto your receipt.

How to Write a Receipt Amount

1. Type the amount received. Enter rupees, and paisa after a decimal point if any.
2. Read the receipt line. The Received with thanks sentence appears with the amount in words.
3. Choose the style. Keep the thanks phrase, add a from line, and include the Urdu wording.
4. Copy or download. Copy the line, or save it as a text file.

The Received with Thanks Phrase

The classic receipt wording is Received with thanks a sum of Rupees, followed by the amount in words and the word Only. The word Only at the end is important, because it fixes the amount and stops anyone changing it. You can drop the thanks phrase for a plainer Received a sum of if you prefer.

Adding the Payer

A receipt often names who paid. When you turn on the from line, the tool adds from followed by a blank you can fill with the payer’s name, so the receipt is complete once you write the name in.

Adding the Urdu Wording

Many receipts in Pakistan carry the amount in Urdu too. When the Urdu option is on, the tool adds an Urdu line stating the amount received in words, using the lakh and crore system.

Accuracy and Limits

The generator is deterministic, so the same amount and options always give the same line. It follows the standard receipt wording with the word Only, and reads paisa to two decimal places. Always check the words against the amount before giving a receipt.
