What the Urdu Spacing Checker Does

The Urdu Spacing Checker finds the whitespace slips that creep into a document: two or more spaces where one belongs, a stray space at the start or end of a line, a tab character, and a space sitting just before a line break. It counts each kind and can tidy them all at once.

These slips are invisible at a glance but they show up in justified text, in search, and when the text is copied elsewhere. Cleaning them gives you a tidy, even document.

How to Check

What It Checks

The checker looks at four whitespace slips. A run of two or more spaces between words, where a single space belongs. A space at the very start of a line, which pushes the text in. A space at the end of a line, which is invisible but real. And a tab character, which lands differently in different places. Each is counted on its own so you can see what your text needs.

Why Spacing Matters

Even spacing is what makes a page look cared for. Double spaces open ugly gaps in justified Urdu text, trailing spaces break neat line endings, and tabs shift where words land when the text moves to another program. Fixing them once saves a lot of small annoyances later.

The One-Click Tidy

The checker does more than count: it hands you a tidied copy of your text with the runs of spaces collapsed to one, the tabs turned into a single space, and the stray spaces at the ends of lines removed. You can read the cleaned text, edit it if you wish, and copy it straight out.

Accuracy and Limits

The checker reads whitespace exactly, so its counts and its tidy are precise. It works on ordinary spaces, tabs, and line breaks; it does not touch the special zero-width joiners that shape Urdu letters, so your words keep their correct form after the tidy.

Good to know: for the spacing around full stops and commas, the punctuation checker handles those, since they are punctuation rather than plain whitespace.
