There will be a small version of the Apple iPhone 17.
Analyst Jeff Pu said this week in a research study with investment firm Haitong that Apple is working on the “iPhone 17 Slim” device that would replace the Plus model in the lineup.
Macrumors reports that Pu claims this model will have a 48-megapixel telephoto camera, a 24-megapixel front camera, a slimmer body, an A18 or A19 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 6.6-inch display.
More exactly, display business analyst Ross Young projected a 6.55-inch screen for the iPhone 17 model. Contrarily, the screen of the iPhone 15 Plus is 6.7 inches.
Pu predicts the iPhone 17 Slim will have an aluminum body rather than titanium, as in the Pro models. Though he expects some external design changes for the smartphone, he gave no details.
A few of these speculated features might alter when Apple releases the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025, as expected.
However, Apple is slated to unveil the iPhone 16 series this week. Wonderful designs and specs are expected.
